One of the best Kentucky Derby upsets in the last 50 years

MINE THAT BIRD; a 50:1 pick wins the 2009 KENTUCKY DERBY by 6 furlongs. I wish I would have put money on that champ. A 2 dollar bet paid out around 103 bucks. I love how the TV personality  stubbles to remember “Mine the Birds” name as he takes the lead.

 

This of one of the biggest upset in the last 50 years and I bet it pissed off some people in the process. I bet you the Prince of Debi owns him within the next year.
